Cypress and the broader Cy-Fair area (served by Cypress-Fairbanks ISD) have grown to roughly 660,000 residents and nearly 225,000 households, an 11% increase in just five years. Much of that growth is concentrated in two massive master-planned communities: Bridgeland, a 11,000+ acre development planned for 20,000 total homes and 70,000 eventual residents (already about 76% built out with over 7,250 homes occupied as of late 2024, and named NAHB’s 2024 Master-Planned Community of the Year), and the smaller, roughly 3,000-home Towne Lake just across Fry Road.
Bigger Homes, Bigger Systems
Bridgeland and Towne Lake skew toward larger four-bedroom homes, commonly 3,000+ square feet, which means dual-zone or multi-system HVAC setups are the norm rather than the exception. That changes the service call: a single \”AC not cooling\” complaint in a Bridgeland home might mean one of two systems has failed while the other runs fine, and zoning dampers add a diagnostic step that smaller single-system homes don’t have.
Still-Growing Territory
Because Bridgeland alone is still adding 900+ new homes a year, we regularly handle first-service calls on systems less than a year old, along with the full range of repair, replacement, and maintenance work as the earliest-built sections approach their first major service milestones.
