A Split Housing Stock
West Houston’s residential mix is genuinely split: established 1970s-90s subdivisions like Nottingham Forest, Ashford Forest, and Wilchester inside the Beltway with original or once-replaced ductwork, next to newer construction in Royal Oaks Country Club and Parkway Villages with modern high-efficiency systems. That split matters because the fixes are different — older homes usually need duct sealing and repair alongside equipment work, while newer homes are more often a straightforward repair or a system still under manufacturer warranty.
Renters vs. Owners
A meaningful share of Energy Corridor housing is rented (over half by some counts), which means we regularly coordinate directly with property managers and landlords on approvals and access, not just homeowners.
